Side zip trainers are what Ara are best known for, and they lead our range, with flatform and wedge trainers alongside. The shoes cover chain-detail leather loafers, dressy suede pumps on a low heel, wedge pumps, a side-zip patent shoe and a Gore-Tex slip-on for wet days. What are the most popular Ara trainers?
The Osaka, New York and Sapporo have been bestsellers for years, and they come back every season in new colours. All three are side zip trainers: you set the laces once and use the zip at the inside ankle from then on. They're light, cushioned and made on Ara's generous fittings, which is why customers who find one they like tend to come back for the next colour.
Are Ara shoes good for wider feet?
They're one of the best brands we stock for it. Every Ara shoe in our range is made on a G or an H fitting, most of them an H, the wide fitting, and the fitting is stated on every product.
