Wonders Ladies Boots
Wonders boots bring the brand's soft Spanish leathers to the colder months. The range runs from platform Chelsea boots and front-zip ankle boots to suede and patent heeled ankle boots, the long-running Bristol lace-up, chunky and low-wedge sock boots, and a leather knee boot on a platform sole. Are Wonders platform boots heavy?
Much lighter than they look. The chunky soles are built for height and grip rather than weight, and several styles, including the Bristol lace-up, sit on Wonders' extralight WondersFly sole. A platform also raises the front of the foot as well as the heel, so a boot with a 5cm heel feels flatter underfoot than the number suggests. Are Wonders boots comfortable for all-day wear?
For a dressy boot, very. Most are lined in soft leather or textile with a leather footbed, so there's little breaking in, and the block and platform heels are far steadier than a slim heel. If you're on your feet all day, the platform Chelsea boots and the low-wedge sock boots are the easiest place to start.
